Hi and welcome to my blog!

I’m Stuart, a thirty-something aspiring author from Hertfordshire, England, now living in Yorkshire with my wife and our two dogs.

I’ve enjoyed writing my entire life, yet for some reason never truly made time for it (I won’t lie to us both by claiming I never *had* time), but all that has changed now! I’ve finally taken the plunge and, after taking a creative writing course last year, have begun writing my first novel.

I’ve created this blog to help document my (dare I say it?) ‘journey’ as I write my story and to discuss all the struggles and successes that will no doubt be a part of it. I’m also hoping to connect with other authors and writers, to share in their stories.
